Are you someone who thrives on structure, organization, and accurate administration? Then we have a versatile role for you! In this combined role, you will ensure that both the incoming and outgoing invoicing flow of the Theo Pouw Group is in order.

Within our Finance department, you will work with two close-knit teams: Invoicing (four colleagues) and Accounts Payable (four colleagues), both managed by a single team leader. We are a department where everyone supports each other and where collaboration is a given.

What are you going to do?

You ensure that the administration runs smoothly from our ERP system, JD Edwards. You act as a sparring partner for colleagues from other departments and think from the perspective of the customer and the company. Every customer within the Theo Pouw Group is different, which means there are many exceptions. This makes the work varied and challenging. Your duties include:

  • Processing and checking purchase invoices;
  • Preparing payment batches;
  • Preparing and sending sales invoices;
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers, customers, and internal departments;
  • Checking the completeness and accuracy of invoicing and supplier data;
  • Assist with month-end closing;
  • Supporting finance-related projects.

You will work for both the Invoicing and Accounts Payable departments, which means that no two days are the same. Your fixed working days are Wednesday and Friday; we will schedule the remaining hours in consultation with you.

  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in administration/finance;
  • Open to pursuing relevant education and training;
  • At least 1 year of work experience in accounts payable, invoicing, or a similar role;
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
  • Experience with Excel.

Our location in Utrecht is a one-stop shop offering products and services for ground, road, water, and concrete construction, from primary raw materials and secondary building materials to the processing of construction and demolition waste, soil cleaning, and the deployment of transport equipment, cranes, and shovels.
