Assistant foreman

In the position of PCU assistant foreman, you will be assigned a variety of tasks in which you will both manage colleagues and monitor the process to ensure that quality and quantity are guaranteed for the Theo Pouw Group's installations, (earth-moving) machines, trucks, and crushers. You will mainly be working in our construction workshop in Utrecht.

What are you going to do?

As a PCU assistant foreman, you will ensure that employees on the work floor are managed and that the process runs smoothly so that our business activities can continue safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:

• Daily management, instruction, and supervision of employees on the work floor with regard to order and tidiness;
• Assisting in our construction workshop by performing welding and mechanical work;
• Monitoring the quality, quantity, and calculated costs of an assignment;
• Administrative tasks associated with the position;

We work at the PCU from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What are we asking?

You are a real go-getter and can handle stress well, ensuring that the various tasks run smoothly. You are also able to collaborate and communicate with colleagues to help each other with larger jobs. You also bring the following to the table:

• A completed education in metalworking;
• Technical insight;
• Driver's license B;
• In possession of VCA-VOL or willing to obtain it;
• In possession of welding certificate CO2, stainless steel, MIG, MAG, and aluminum or 2 years of experience;
• Knowledge of construction materials, welding, and grinding.

A contract for 40 hours per week for 7 months in the position of all-round metalworker with the prospect of permanent employment. We participate in the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport. This means you can also count on:

Who are we?

PCU is the Theo Pouw Group's construction workshop. From our construction workshop in Utrecht, we weld and carry out assembly work with approximately 10 colleagues on our fleet of vehicles and machinery, containers, and production installations, among other things.
