Driver 10 x 4 tipper
We understand that as a driver, you want to drive a clean, modern, and well-maintained truck. You also don't have to worry about your hours; with us, your hours are paid fairly. Will you join our team and drive one of our beautiful blue trucks?
What will you be doing?
As a 10×4 tipper truck driver at the Theo Pouw Group, you will be transporting large quantities of raw materials for civil engineering, including asphalt, to customers or construction sites. You will be the face of the Theo Pouw Group and will have a lot of contact with customers and colleagues while performing your duties.
You will do this by:
– You will transport materials such as sand to and from our customers (e.g., construction sites);
– You will be responsible for daily maintenance and repairing minor malfunctions on the trailer;
– You will keep the vehicle clean.
Our working days usually start between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. In most cases, you will be back in Utrecht by the end of the afternoon and home in the evening. We sometimes work evening, weekend, and night shifts. We ask our drivers to work occasionally in the evenings, at night, and on weekends. In winter, you may be deployed for ice control (snow plowing).
What are we looking for?
You strive to deliver goods to our customers on time. Changes to the schedule are sometimes unavoidable, but thanks to your flexible approach, this is no problem for you and you remain calm. You also bring with you:
– Driver's license C supplemented with valid code 95;
– Good command of the Dutch language;
– Basic Safety (VCA) diploma or willingness to obtain one;
– Resident in the Utrecht region.
What do we offer?
A 40-hour-a-week contract for 7 months with the prospect of permanent employment. We participate in the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport. This means you can also count on:
– Bonus scheme for accident-free driving of up to €75.00 per month;
– Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;
– Code 95 refresher training (reimbursement for training hours and courses);
– Company phone;
– Pension plan with the Transport Pension Fund of 30% per year with a personal contribution of 10.16%.
– Minimum of 27.5 vacation days based on full-time employment;
– Good company restaurant where your order is freshly prepared at a good price.

Who are we?
Our transport department handles the transport of primary and secondary raw materials for earthworks, road construction, hydraulic engineering, and concrete construction. Our fleet in Utrecht consists of 70 well-maintained, modern trucks (Volvo, Scania, MAN, and Mercedes), including trailers, tippers, and concrete mixers. To guarantee the quality and availability of our equipment, we have our own workshop, which allows us to carry out maintenance efficiently. Our drivers are responsible for additional technical checks and daily maintenance of the trucks. If you would like to be part of our transport team, you are very welcome at the Theo Pouw Group!
