Internal sales representative

The Sales department is responsible for the sale of primary and secondary building materials for ground, road, water, and concrete construction. We are looking for an internal sales representative for our office in Eemshaven. You will be working in a small team with two other colleagues.

What are you going to do?

As an internal sales representative, you will have a broad role within the department and will be an important link in the sales process. Among other things, you will be responsible for the correct handling of the entire quotation process. You will do this by:

• Correctly registering, sending, archiving, and recording orders;
• Drawing up purchase and sales contracts;
• Entering and keeping up to date the standard sales prices, rental rates, and price agreements per debtor;
• Responding to customer inquiries or complaints;
• Maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders;
• Proactively approach (new) customers;
• Visit customers and projects when necessary.

What are we asking?

You strive for clear and targeted communication and consider cooperation to be a matter of course. You actively seek solutions and contribute to an efficient and smooth sales process. You work carefully, maintain an overview under pressure, and keep an eye on quality.

• Vocational education (MBO) level of working and thinking or comparable practical experience;
• At least 1 year of commercial or administrative work experience;
• Good command of the Dutch language. Command of English and/or German is an advantage;
• In possession of a Class B driver's license.

Applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the application procedure.

At our location in Eemshaven, contaminated mineral waste is processed 24/7 using the thermal cleaner to produce high-quality, sustainable secondary raw materials. We also produce high-quality concrete and coordinate the transport of building materials and construction and demolition waste. The operational processes are supported by various departments such as Sales, Transport Planning, KAM, Finance, IT, HR, and PR.
