We are looking for a commercial administrative assistant for our Environment Department in Utrecht. The Environment Department is responsible for processing 1 million tons of contaminated materials annually and supplies certified (semi-)finished products to sectors such as civil engineering, as well as the concrete and asphalt industries. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is essential in this department, and you will receive the necessary guidance from your colleagues.
What are you going to do?
Manage the commercial and administrative operations of the Environment Department.
You can do this by:
- Answering questions from internal and external customers;
- Processing orders in our system;
- Ensure daily coordination with other departments within our company, such as scheduling or the laboratory;
- Preparing internal and external reports.

You can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. In addition, you have excellent communication and administrative skills, enabling you to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You are eager to learn and curious about the dynamics of our industry, which helps you acquire knowledge quickly. You also bring the following:
- HBO-level education and thinking skills;
- An affinity for the civil engineering sector.
What do we offer?
A contract for at least 32 hours per week for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position. We are covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Commercial Freight Transport. This means you can also count on:
- 27.5 vacation days based on full-time employment and additional days from the age of 45;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

Who are we?
Our location in Utrecht is a one-stop shop offering products and services for ground, road, water, and concrete construction, from primary raw materials and secondary building materials to the processing of construction and demolition waste, soil cleaning, and the deployment of transport equipment, cranes, and shovels. In addition to producing high-quality concrete, we also coordinate the transport of building materials and manage the collection and processing of contaminated soil, construction and demolition waste.
