Work independently at our soil remediation facility in Utrecht and take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the facility. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact on the shop floor and ensure that the process runs safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

The soil remediation plant uses a recycling process to convert contaminated soil into new construction materials for civil engineering projects. These materials are used, for example, in infrastructure projects such as highway widening.

What are you going to do?

As a foreman, you are solely responsible for the day-to-day operations at and around the facility. You oversee the process, identify any deviations, and ensure that work is carried out safely and correctly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently monitoring the production process;
  • Conducting inspection rounds;
  • Assessing technical malfunctions and taking appropriate action;
  • Performing cleaning, repair, and maintenance work;
  • Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety at the site;
  • Coordinating activities with internal departments and external parties;
  • Performing all other tasks on and around the facility.

What are we asking?

With your technical expertise and sense of responsibility, you’ll ensure that the system continues to run smoothly. You’re able to work independently, keep track of everything, and stay calm in unexpected situations.

You should also bring:

  • Technical insight;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or industrial setting;
  • An aerial work platform or forklift certificate, or you are willing to obtain one at our expense.

What do we offer?

A contract for 40 hours per week for 7 months with the prospect of permanent employment. In addition, you can also count on:

  • Investment in your talent and development through our Online Academy and job-specific courses;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;
  • Pension scheme with the Transport Pension Fund of 30% per year with a personal contribution of 10.16%;
  • Minimum of 27.5 vacation days based on full-time employment;

We do not appreciate unsolicited applications in response to this vacancy.

Who are we?

Our location in Utrecht is a one-stop shop offering products and services for earthworks, road construction, hydraulic engineering, and concrete construction: from primary raw materials and secondary building materials to the processing of construction and demolition waste, soil cleaning, and the deployment of transport equipment, cranes, and shovels (Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sennebogen). In addition to producing high-quality concrete, we also coordinate the transport of building materials and manage the collection and processing of contaminated soil and construction and demolition waste. Our colleagues work on and around the installations every day to guarantee the quality of our products, ensure optimal production of the installations, and load our own ships and trucks.
