Foreman/Machinist

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and become part of our close-knit team? For our location in Utrecht, we’re looking for a foreman/machine operator on our site. As a foreman/machine operator, you’ll provide day-to-day supervision to your colleagues on our site and operate our loaders.

What are you going to do?

Together with your coworkers, you’ll ensure that the yard runs smoothly. Thanks to effective management and teamwork, the trucks are loaded on time and correctly. In addition, the yard will look neat and organized. You’ll do this by:

• Managing and instructing field staff on a daily basis;
• Monitor incoming materials and finished products, both in terms of quality and quantity;
• Monitors compliance with the environmental permit requirements;
• Monitors compliance with internal procedures;
• Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders.

What are we asking?

You are someone who thinks in terms of solutions. When problems arise, you are able to identify them promptly and resolve them on your own. You take responsibility for your work and handle the equipment and machinery you use with care. You also bring the following:

• At least 1 year of experience as a backhoe operator;
• Basic Safety Certificate (VCA) or willing to obtain it;
• Certificate as an inland waterway calibration inspector, or willing to obtain one.
