Are you a driven HR professional looking for a challenge where you can use your expertise to make a difference for employees and managers? You will implement HR policy at the locations in Eemshaven, Groningen, and Akkrum.

What are you going to do?

As an HR Advisor, you play a key role within the organization. You serve as a strategic partner to management, collaborate with your colleagues to optimize processes, and contribute ideas to our HR policies. As an HR Advisor, you are responsible for all operational HR tasks within the organization. You handle the entire HR cycle: from onboarding (such as recruitment, selection, and onboarding), through career progression (for example, job changes and absence management), to offboarding (such as exit interviews). We manage our HR processes in Afas, the integrated HR and payroll system. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and facilitating managers in personnel matters;
  • Act as a source of information for employees;
  • Optimizing and professionalizing HR;
  • Participation in various HR projects, such as onboarding and sustainable employability.

You will be part of a dedicated and friendly HR team consisting of an HR manager, three HR advisors, and three HR associates. One of the HR associates is based at the Eemshaven location. The other colleagues work from the headquarters in Utrecht.

You are flexible, customer-focused, and proactive, and you are always ready to take on challenges. With your problem-solving skills, you ensure that processes run smoothly and that both managers and employees are well supported. You also bring:

  • A completed higher professional education degree in HRM or Business Administration;
  • At least 2 years of work experience as an HR Advisor;
  • You are willing to travel to Utrecht approximately once a month;
  • Experience with AFAS (preferred);
  • In possession of a Class B driver's license.

What do we offer?

A one-year contract for 32 hours per week, with the possibility of permanent employment. We are covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Commercial Freight Transport. This means you can also count on:

  • A salary between €3,530.40 and €5,024.85 gross per month (based on full-time employment, depending on experience);
  • 8% vacation pay;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

Who are we?

At our location in Eemshaven, contaminated mineral waste is processed 24/7 using a thermal cleaner to produce high-quality, sustainable secondary raw materials. We also produce high-quality concrete and coordinate the transport of building materials and construction and demolition waste. The operational processes are supported by various departments such as Sales, Transport Planning, QHSE, Finance, IT, HR, and PR.
