Welder

As a welder, you will perform a variety of tasks, including welding and mechanical work on installations, (earth-moving) machinery, trucks, and crushers belonging to the Theo Pouw Group. You will primarily be based at our Eemshaven location, but will also occasionally work in the field.

What are you going to do?

As a welder, you ensure that machines and structures function reliably again so that our business operations can continue safely and efficiently. Your duties include:

• Repairing excavator buckets, container buckets, sand grapples, and demolition attachments;
• The manufacture of structural components;
• Assembling and disassembling structural components.

Your working hours as a welder are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What are we asking?

You’re a real go-getter and eager to learn. You’re also able to collaborate and communicate with colleagues to help each other with larger projects. You also bring the following:

• A completed education in metalworking;
• Technical insight;
• Driver's license B
• Preferably experience as a welder with machine bench work, arc welding, MIG/MAG welding, basic knowledge of or experience working on earth-moving equipment.

What do we offer?

A contract for 40 hours per week for 7 months in the position of all-round metalworker with the prospect of permanent employment. We participate in the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport. This means you can also count on:

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

At our location in Eemshaven, contaminated mineral waste is processed 24/7 using a thermal cleaner to produce high-quality, sustainable secondary raw materials. We also produce high-quality concrete and coordinate the transport of building materials and construction and demolition waste.
