Norbert has been happily working at the Theo Pouw Groep Utrecht branch since 2003. He quickly rose through the ranks within the company: from driver to planner to chief planner. Since 2012, Norbert has been working in his current position as logistics manager and, since 2019, also as sales manager.

Norbert describes the Theo Pouw Groep as a family business with short lines of communication for everyone. Accessibility is paramount; you can always approach both your manager and the management team. The members of the management team are regularly present on the work floor to chat with employees.

Norbert is allowed to make independent decisions in his work and take on projects. Of course, he does this in consultation with others. But Norbert is trusted to make his own choices. That makes him feel good. It makes his work enjoyable and familiar.

There is an open working atmosphere within the team, where communication is important. Norbert believes it is important to know what is going on in the workplace. His door is always open. Every day, he walks into the garage to check in and ask how his colleagues are doing and how the work on the equipment is progressing. Norbert likes to stay on top of the business.
